09/13/07 Geneva Lake Partly cloudy 54 degrees. Winds SW 10-15 mph. H20 temp at surface 71.2 degrees. For a cold morning the fishing action was certainly hot! The smallmouth were on a feeding frenzy for a small window of time, which we capitalized on! We boated 23 smallmouth ranging from 14-18 1/2". We also managed to catcha few larger bluegill is in some deep water. We fished a wide range of depths today from 15-48 FOW. Drop-shot and split-shot rigs tipped with crawlers both produced equally as well.
