The Boys from Missouri!

08/18/07 Geneva Lake cloudy/misting 78 degrees. Winds SSW 10-15 mph. H20 76.5 degrees at surface. I had the chance to fish with three extremely polite boys from Missouri today. We had a blast today catching smallmouth ranging 17-19", largemouth 15-17", and a nice mess of bluegills. The most productive depth was 25-35 FOW. We fished using drop-shot rigs tipped with crawlers and leeches. The fish began to suspend, so we switched gears using split-shot rigs to keep the bite going. The gills were caught in 17-22 FOW using crawlers. My clients had a great stay at The Cove in downtown Geneva. It works out pretty nice picking up my clients at the Municipal Launch right outside of the Resort. Be sure to stop in and talk to Pat and Paula. Tell them John form Reddy Guide Service sent you!
