12/22/07 DelavanLake heavy fog/raining 48 degrees.3-4”ice thickness, lots of water on the surface. We fished mainly for pan-fish, setting tip-ups for pike also. The fishing action was pretty slow to start. We ended up with 15 bluegills ranging from 7-8 ½”, and a 20” northern pike.We fished 4-8 FOW fishing medium suckers and smelt for the pike, while fishing Rat Finkies tipped with plastics and spikes.
I have a passion for fishing. The challenge, the art and the constant learning of new tactics and strategies, to catch more fish, giving the amateur and the seasoned angler the opportunity to learn the latest in equipment and popular trends.
I thoroughly enjoy teaching others what I have learned and what tactics work for me.
I look forward to seeing you on the water.
