09/12/07 Geneva Lake clear 60 degrees. Winds light and variable. H20 temp at surface 72.3 degrees. Being on the receivng end of a cold front we had some decent action this afternoon. We targeted northern pike and smallmouth bass. The smallies cooperated a little better than the pike today. We boated one northern pike 26", and 12 smallmouth ranging 14-19 1/2". The most productive depth ranged between 25-45 FOW. The biggest smallie came from 33 FOW. Drop-shotting crawlers and fatheads produced all of our fish today, with the exception of suckers for the pike.
