09/03/07 Delavan Lake clear 76 degrees. Winds light and variable. H20 78 degrees at surface. Despite the calm water and the pleasure boat traffic, we had a great morning out on the water. I had the chance to fish with Dan, Marilyn and Michael catching quite the mixed bag. The most productive depth today was 18-26 FOW. Using leeches and crawlers for largemouth, smallmouth, walleyes and bluegills. We also managed to boat a few undersized northern pike with Lindy rigged suckers. Marilyn even caught a fishing rod and reel! Unfortunately it was covered with zebra mussels.
