Bohners Lake

07/24/07 Bohners Lake Rain/clearing later 80 degrees. Winds light and variable. H20 temp 78 degrees at surface. Water clarity was poor. I had the chance to pre-fish Bohners Lake for an outing with Bob Reipenhoff coming up in a few days. The northern pike were biting ferociously while the rain was coming down, and shut off like a light switch once the sun came out. I ended up with 10 pike, 33" being the largest fish. All were caught in 17-20 feet of water using bucktails, spinnerbaits, chatterbaits and lindy rigging suckers on the bottom. I also ended up with 6 largemouth bass ranging from 8-15". The bluegills I caught were on small twister tails and were 6-8" in size.
