08/06/07 Delavan Lake sunny 93 degrees. Winds calm. H20 80 degrees. I had a real nice time guiding a party of three today. Despite the smoldering heat with no wind, we ended up catching some nice fish. We worked the 20-30 foot range ending up with 3 northern pike 29-31" using lindy-rigged suckers and 3 largemouth bass ranging from 17-18" using crawlers and leeches on split-shot rigs. In between the gamefish we managed to catch 25-30 bluegills ranging 7-8.5".
