07/31/07 Bohners Lake clear 90 degrees. Winds calm. H20 79 degrees at the surface. Water clarity low. Bob Reipenhoff of the Milwaukee Journal and I hit the water looking for northern pike and largemouth bass. We worked many artificial baits for the first hour or so with little to no avail switching to lindy rigged suckers fished in the 14-17 foot depths. We ended up with 4 northern pike ranging from 24-30" and 3 bite offs. We also caught 3 largemouth using shiners on split shot rigs ranging from 10-18". The previous trip out on Bohners was more productive simply due to a windier day helping the bite.
