06/29/07 Elizabeth Lake overcast/clear 70 degrees. Winds NE 10-15 mph. H20 temp 78 degrees. I had the opportunity to fish with Bob Riepenhoff from the Milwaukee Journal today on Elizabeth to do a lake profile for the Sunday sports section. We ended up with a largemouth double header in the first few minutes on the water to find us searching for bass for the next hour or two. We found an underwater point on a defined weedline fishing 12-17' of water ending up with a mixed bag of bluegills/bass/crappies. We ended up with around 6 bass ranging from 8-12", several gills 7-8" and some nice crappie topping out at 12". All in all we had a good day learning new water.
