06/28/07 Delavan Lake clear 80 degrees. Winds light and variable. H20 temp. 78 degrees. We fished the mid-morning bite for pike ending up with 6 pike running a little small 24-30" fishing Lindy rigged suckers in 17-20' of water drifting. We changed gears fishing for bass/walleye catching 28 largemouth and smallies in 10-17' of water using crawlers on a split shot rig. The bass ranged from 17-21" with one reaching 5.7#. The walleyes were hiding out today in the weeds only giving us one short 16" eye.
