02/03/07 Delavan Lake sunny 25 degrees. Winds north/northwest 10-15 mph. Barometric pressure 29.66R. Ice thickness 14", very soft on top. Despite the wind today a very lucky groom spent a little time away from his bride. He was able to spend his last few hours as a free man fishing. My kind of guy! The fishing was pretty slow all in all, but the groom hooked a very healthy 12" crappie. We ended up with one flag, but no fish. The consensus with fishermen out on the ice was pretty slow action. Thanks guys for venturing out for a day on the water.
