First Big Day On The Ice
01/22/07 Delavan Lake, sunny giving away to clouds 28 degrees. Winds west/southwest 5-15 mph. Ice thickness 5-6 inches. Caught a nice mess of bluegill in 3-5 feet of water. Set tip-ups in 3-6 feet of water. Had five flags but no fish hooked. I used a combination of fatheads and suckers on the rigs. All in all the consensus between fishermen today was slow action.
