01/27/07 Delavan Lake, light snow 20 degrees. West/northwest winds 5 mph. Barometric pressure 29.77R. Ice thickness 7". Took my son fishing for a little while this afternoon. We caught around 12 nice bluegills and a few crappies in the 8" range along with many others. We also had one flag around dark. Many, many people were out today fishing boards, but we only saw one fish caught. Very slow. We fished mainly 3-5 feet of water. The gills and crappies were caught on glow teardrops with spikes.
